Another video has emerged of Pastor Ofori and Barbara’s brother in which the pair are seen arguing.
Barbara’s family had accompanied her to her enstranged husband’s home for some documents when Barbara was attacked in the presence of her family members. This prompted Barbara’s brother to intervene.In the process, Barbara’s brother accused him of being a fake man of God. Pastor Ofori in response said “if I don’t kill your sister then I am fake.” Barbara’s brother then advised her to to file a police report but she declined.
Sylvester Ofori appears to have carried out his threat after a number of days when he shot and killed Barbara Tomney in the back seven times.
According to eye witness, Ofori followed Barbara to the work place. He then pulled the gun from his pocket and started shooting a visibly shocked Barbara until she fell dead. Orlando Police Ofori quickly bolted but with the help of a CCTV footage of the incident, he has been arrested by the Orlando police and is currently facing trial.
The Orlando Police Department in a facebook post said detectives have arrested Sylvester Ofori, 35, in the murder of his 27-year-old wife.
It said “she was shot outside the Navy Federal Credit Union branch where she worked.”
