A cleric from the Resurrection Power and Living Bread Ministries International (REPLIB), Reverend Christa Osei Mensah, has urged Christians to give up the attitude of complaining and overthinking.
She observed that no one has been able to solve problems by engaging in the said practices. As such, it would be profitable if the Christian would channel the time and energy into action.
“Don’t wallow in self-pity and doubt. Gather courage, move in faith and be intentional about your approach,” Rev Christa Osei Mensah further urged.
She said it on Sunday while delivering a sermon on the topic “Push till you go through”.
The Woman of God asserted that many Christians throw in the towel when their plans fall through, a situation she discourages.
“Fight for what you want. Don’t give up on your studies or business ideas. God is the beginning and the end. And whatever He starts, He finishes. In the same way, never give up. Persevere to the very end, and you will achieve the desired results.”
Rev Christa Osei Mensah, buttressing her point, cited the example of a woman in labour who never stops pushing because “she’s expecting a baby”. The expectancy, according to her, keeps her pushing, “no matter how tough things become.”
“Let us also, with unwavering perseverance, push until we birth our testimonies,” she added.
The preacher stressed the need to remain prayerful while continuing earnestly in hope, saying, “the Bible says the expectations of the righteous shall never be cut short. God is not selective; neither does He show favouritism. If you ask in faith, you will receive”.
