The Harmattan season kicks in this weekend, according to the Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMeT).
The Agency in its advisory indicated that: “Low level strong winds from the Sahel areas are expected to enter Northern Ghana over the
weekend especially on Sunday.”
“However, no major dust has been raised over the dust source
regions,” it stated.
Dry conditions will be experienced over northern Ghana especially over the Northeast, Upper East, Upper West and Northern regions.
