As indicated in the weather warning from early on, the rainstorm observed over northern portions of Togo and Benin is currently producing thunderstorms with rain amidst cloudy conditions over some areas in the North and is expected to propagate westwards affecting more areas.
Mist and fog patches are also expected this morning over the coastal, forest and mountainous zones amidst mostly cloudy weather.
As the day progresses, variably cloudy conditions with breaks of sunshine will prevail across parts of the country with slight rain or drizzle anticipated over some places within southern Ghana.
However, thunderstorms or rain are likely to affect parts of the northern and transition sectors from the afternoon into the evening hours.
