Getting vaccinated does not imply lack of faith – Duncan Williams

Presiding Archbishop and General Overseer of Action Chapel International, Nicholas Duncan-Williams, has urged the church to observe the Covid-19 protocols whether or not they have been vaccinated.

His comments were in reponse to the mixed reactions that people have exhibited and continue to do towards the vaccination exercise ongoing in the country.

Providing evidence of himself undergoing the process, he stated on his Facebook page that getting vaccinated is not a sign of faithlessness but rather a choice that one has to make.

He wrote: “I know a lot of people are concerned about the safety of the COVID-19 vaccine. Taking the vaccine does not imply a lack of faith. I got vaccinated last week. If you want to take it, and you have the opportunity to do so, I think you should do it. Taking it or not is your choice.”

“Stay safe and follow the protocols whether you have been vaccinated or not,” he added.
