Overseer of God’s Way Church International, Bishop Daniel Obinim, popularly known as Angel Obinim, has called on Ghanaians to pray for “Second Sermon” singer, Black Sherif, after breaking his song down in a video going viral on social media.
“Second Sermon” since its release about a week ago, has been making waves with 2million views on YouTube already.
The song recounts the story of a young man whose frustrations as a result of poverty, has plunged him into his association with syndicates to commit crimes.
Angel Obinim, after explaining portions of the the song, said Black Sherif needed to be interceded for, because the lyrics denote a sad event in his life.
He said: “He [the character of the song] hates what he is doing and he is losing his way. What he is saying—he needs prayers, so pray for him.”
