Former Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Professor Kwadwo Nimfour Opoku Onyinah, has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Cathedral Project.
His appointment was announced by President Akufo-Addo at a meeting with the Board on Monday February 8, 2021 at the Presidency.
Apostle Professor Onyinah is a replacement for late founding Trustee Chairman, Most Reverend Samuel Asante Antwi, whose death since last year September left the position vacant.
According to President Akufo-Addo, the newly appointed chairman is a worthy replacement for the late Most Reverend Samuel Asante Antwi.
The former Chairman of the Pentecost Church, in his acceptance speech, expressed gratitude to the President for the privilege given him to serve on the Board and lauded the Board members for their efforts in handling the project.
He also assured both the President and all Board Members of his commitment to see through the effective execution of his mandate.
About Apostle Professor Kwadwo Nimfour Opoku Onyinah
He has a doctorate degree in Theology from University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom (UK).
He also has Masters degree in Applied Theology from University of Manchester in the UK (Done at Regent Theology College, UK).
He was the immediate past Chairman of the Church of Pentecost and a former President of Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council.
Other positions he held include Chairman of Ghana Evangelism Committee and Global Co-Chair of the Scholars Consultation of Empowered.
He is a writer who has authored, co-authored and edited some Christian literatures.
