Presiding Bishop of Perez Chapel International, Charles Agyinasare has anointed the Deputy Ranking Member on Parliament’s Communications Committee, Samuel Nartey George as he leads his colleagues in pushing for the criminalisation of the LFGBTQ+ activities in the country.
The anointing, which took place on Sunday, October 11, 2021, during a church service, according to the bishop, was to draw out God’s protection to enable him to have the courage to speak against the course.
“Elder Hon. Samuel George, we pray that the Lord will keep and protect you and your parliamentary team on this mission to protect posterity.
“May you have utterance to speak with the tongue of the learned. Ghana is proud of you and your team,” said the Bishop during the sanctification.

The ‘Bill on the Promotion of Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values’, was presented to Speaker, Alban Bagbin on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.
